I am a partner of Choi & Fabian, PLC, with offices in Chandler and Flagstaff, Arizona. The firm focus its practice on protecting consumers from avaricious business practices using consumer protection statutes such as the Consumer Fraud Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Uniform Commercial Code. I have handled hundreds of successful consumer protection cases including class action lawsuits against car dealers and finance companies. My efforts have resulted in the following published decisions favoring consumers: Mertola v. Santos, 422 P.3d 1028 (2018); Hayward v. Ariz. Cent. Credit Union, 387 P.3d1279, 241 Ariz. 350 (App. 2017), Howell v. Midway Infiniti., 362 F.Supp.2d 1158 (Ariz. 2005) (forgery and FCRA inaccuracy claims). Uhlig v. Berge Ford, 257 F.Supp.2d 1228 (Ariz, 2003), Garden Lakes Community Association v. Madigan, 204 Ariz. 238, 62 P.2d 983 (App. 2003), and Winkler v. DTE, Inc., 205 F.R.D. 235 (Ariz. 2001). I received my J.D., cum laude, from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1993. I immigrated to the United States in 1978 at the age of fourteen and am fluent in Korean.
